We are Jennifer Knight and Bill Martyn and we would like to
welcome you to the website of Chapter VA-W of Chester, Virginia!
Chapter W is part of the Virginia District, located in Region
N of the International Gold Wing Road Riders Association.
GWRRA is the world's largest social organization for owners
of Gold Wing and Valkryie motorcycles with more than 80,000
members worldwide.
Here locally, we're a medium sized chapter of roughtly 35
members who enjoy motorcycling, socializing and having a good
time with other motorcycle enthusiasts. Participation however,
is not limited to only Gold Wing or Valkryie owners - anyone
may participate, regardless of the brand of motorcycle they
ride!
We would like to invite you to check out our website, take
a look at some of our newsletters and our calendar. If you
think you might be interested in meeting some great people,
and having some good times, feel free to contact us or to
just stop by one of the activities or events on the calendar!
Our regular monthly chapter gatherings (we call them "gatherings"
because "meetings" sounds to formal), are held the
2nd Tuesday of each month starting at 7:00 p.m. at Pietro's
Pizza & Italian Restaurant, located at 2601 Osborne Road,
Chester, Virginia 23831-2139. (Located in the Mid-Cities Shopping
Center on Jefferson Davis Highway, about 1/2 mile South of
Route 288). You're welcome to come early and enjoy a bite
to eat...folks generally start arriving around 6:00 p.m.
